How To Be Saved
If you find yourself at a point in your life where you’re ready to repent of the way you have been living and realize that you need help to change, the help that only Jesus can give, then I invite you to say a special prayer from your heart.
Ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sins. Repent of them from your heart, having decided to turn your back on them. Invite Him in to be both the Lord and God of your life. If you pray that from your heart and you truly mean it, the Lord will forgive you, and He will send His Holy Spirit to be with you and live inside of you.
He will come into your life and help you to live in a way that is fit to be a part of His Kingdom and to be called by His name. He will help you to walk on a new and better path and to overcome the things that once held you in bondage. Deliverance from some things may be instantaneous, others may take some time and effort, but He will help you. You will no longer be on your own. You will no longer be a slave to sin.
Romans 10:9-10 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Jesus died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day. He paid the price for our sin so that all who accept Him can inherit eternal life.
Romans 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
But he did something else as well. He came as a man to teach us what God was like, in a way that we could understand. He also showed how much He loves us and desires to have a relationship with us.
I encourage you to start reading your Bible. The Gospel of John is a great place to start. Talk honestly with the Lord every day and begin to discover your new nature and identity in Christ.
II Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Learn what the Bible actually says by reading it every day, as you grow in your faith.
